Ply: Oh, I know you were only joking. I am sorry if it seemed like I was upset by what you said.
I'm not -- I am actually worried that I may upset someone for triple posting. So, I wanted to assure everyone that I would take them down, if it became a big deal.
Yeah, perhaps, they only look odd because we're just now getting to see them as young Sims.
But who knows. I think with Custom Content, they'll be better.
LOL
... I don't know what you're talking about ... *shifty eyes*
The internet is fine. It's just.. lately I have been getting disconnected, and then it will take
forever to get back on, I mean sometimes I click connect twenty times! Still nothing.
It wasn't like this about 3 weeks ago. But ever since we've renewed our internet.. it's been..
really bad. However, the whole 184KB a second for downloads..... yeah.. that's always been like that with DSL.
So, definitely very slow.
Larinda: Yes, blue blankets mean that they're boys. Pink blankets mean it's a girl.
I have no idea how many different service people there are. I think you just continually get new people. I think the reason they did it, is so that you can make new friends easier. Plus, with the universal aging, they have to bring in new paper boys, and mail ladies every day.. because eventually those Sims do age to elder, and even pass away.
I don't think it has to do with discouraging socializing.. since it allows you to meet new people,
like I stated above.
That's just my "idea" of it, but who knows? Can't really say much about them, as I haven't played long enough to get a feel of what the purpose is for new NPC's.
But I am not saying I hate the idea.
Yeah, I was at MTS the other day.. and I could SEE the difference of the houses from Sims 2
and Sims 3. The graphics for Sims 3 make the houses look so much better, and the shadowing makes them look fantastic. More 3D, if you ask me.
Plus, in game.. the graphics are mind blowing. I love when I zoom around with the camera..
A reflection from the sun, or even just the shiny glass windows "Shine" and look so realistic like.
It's amazing.
Lol, yeah, DSL is better than dial up.. so I guess I can't complain.
But gr.. why call it high speed? Let's just say Dial Up 2.0 or something.
