Has anyone seen it? I saw it yesterday and it was awesome. I think I like Harry Potter more than Twilight now. I almost cried at several parts. It was so sad. They added in some extra stuff that never was in the book but it made the movie better, as much as I hate to admit it. And I had a lot of trouble bursting out laughing several times. And when the hand came out of the lake I lost about 7 years from my life it scared me so much. Even though I knew it would happen and I'd braced myself for it.

I saw it Thursday of the week it came out. It was good, but some of the stuff they changed/omitted really bugged me. (Like the beginning and the funeral at the end...) though I'm sure they have their reasons (the producers that is).
I went through a stage where I was addicted to Twilight--but that was after DH was over, and I had nothing else to read or whatever. Now after watching the HP movies again and re-reading some of the books I've found my love for HP again. And Harry Potter is better than Twilight, written better and all.
The ending didn't make me said. I knew it was coming, the only thing that frightened be a tad was the dead people emerging from the water. [/size]

I came unbelievable close to crying when the Weasley's house was burned down. But at the same time, I was absolutely furious because I don't remember that happening in book. And I really have rediscovered my love for the series, just like you did. I really do adore the series.

I saw it, it would AWESOME. I almost jumped off my seat when the hand came out, and Snape was pure awesome throughout the whole thing and Malfoy. ♥ Hehe, it was hilarious when Harry took that potion, I couldn't stop laughing. "Harry!" "SIR!!!"

Oh, yeah, that part was awesome. Let's face it, the acting is genius, the music is glorious, and everything is perfect in every way.

Yep, even though it didn't stick to the original stuff in the book it was still very good.

I remember when what's-his-name (I'm blanking out for some reason) Greyback, Bellatrix Lestrange, and the Carrows came up into the tower, my main thought wasn't "Oh God, Dumbledore's about to die" but "Good lord, what are the brother and sister's names?" *sigh* The movie really was amazing.

It was better than the last one (it was atrocious). But it still wasn't amazing. I think they played up the whole fact the characters are all hooking up way too much. I think it was an important part of the book on J.K.Rowling's behalf, as she wanted to divulge more about them, and it worked there. It didn't work great in the movie however, because all the emphasis seemed to be placed on it, instead of Voldemort, the Horcruxes, etc etc. There's dark things going on and all the director seemed to want to show was them all snogging each other's faces Lol. I wasn't keen on some of the presentation's of certain scenes and lines. Dumbledore's death scene was a joke. Everyone, the whole school, was just standing there gawping at his corpse! Ridiculous. There should have been panic, crying, screaming, not utter silence. Why were the teachers just standing staring?? Ugh. That bit really bugged me. Another thing that irked me was how they completely disgregarded the title of the movie; they barely talked or considered who the Half-Blood Prince may be. Then suddenly, just to wrap it up, the brilliance that is Alan Rickman was subjected to deliever the hammiest line I've heard since the Philosopher's Stone: "Yes, I am the Half Blood Prince." Like an after thought. "Oh yeh, I guess we better let them know who it is, right?" I can't believe they just flung it in like that. It feels like there should've been a whole speech there. Not a flimsy, cheesy line like that. One a non-ranting note...it was very funny. I loved how it unfolded when Harry drank the liquid luck. He was hilarious ;D And I did jump at the beasties in the lake grabbing for Harry too, I knew it was comming, lol, but yet I did anyway. They were a little too 'Gollum' for me, but eh, that scene was pretty by the book. It was an improvement, but I really hate the current director. The guy who did Goblet of Fire was amazing, he treated the book with great respect, and fitted so much in, it was dark and glorious. This guy is crap. I hope he's not doing the next two Edit: Crap, he is doing the next two I looked on IMDB and found out why he's so bad...until he did Order of The Phoenix, he'd never directed any films. He'd only done a few tv shows, bad ones at that. What on earth where they thinking? Mike Newell (GOF director) is an established director, a smart choice. Why get a TV director, a novice, to take on such a big job? Grr.

Lor, you summed that up perfectly. Yeah, I did find Phoenix and Half-Blood Prince kinda... crap? Exactly, why let a novice make such a ... AWESOME book series!
Yeah, they didn't dwindle on the dark parts. Apparently (from my brother) there was suppose to be a big wand fight in the muggle world or something. That would of been cool to see. None of the movies have a good wand-fighting scene, which is a big shame.
Hehe, I knew it was coming too. I bet everyone jumped a bit or there heart pounded a bit harder. Hahahahahaha, that part when he drank the liquid.... "I WANNA SEE HAGRID!

Hm, I haven't seen it yet, but I hope I will. I plan on getting it on DVD when it comes out! I prefer quiet rooms to see the movies, thank you
