I couldn't find an appropriate help topic in which to post this question and Ray hasn't been on for a while, so I thought I'd put my question to members and get your opinions.
We have a rule about double posting in the General Rules section, however I'm not sure if this rule applies to our own Tables. Are we allowed to double post in our own space? For example, if someone wanted to make a daily blog thread in their Table, would it be acceptable for them to post each day, even if no one responded to their previous blog entry?
Opinions?

Of course, it would be OK. You're not trying to boost up your post count. Plus, it's informational to your Table. It would just be like, if you made a new thread in your table every day. So, say you made a blog entry every day for 30 days. Well that's 30 posts. If you used one board, and posted blog entries in that thread, depending on how many you posted a day, it would still be 30. . (Unless you posted 2 or more a day.) As long as it doesn't look like 'spam', you should be OK. Perhaps, Ray could set up a rule in Tables that IF you were to double post. It needs to be at least a certain amount of characters used. That way, we don't get people taking advantage of it, and just double posting, or triple posting, small little messages within their tables. Ray, any thoughts?

What I'm thinking of doing is this. I want to create a thread for each main family in Pleasantview (as well as my other neighborhoods) that will show the family tree (if I can figure a way to do it), a brief history, and then periodic updates about what's going on with the now very extended families. That way it would be easier to follow who's who and if someone was only interested in say...the Pleasants...they could just follow that thread. It would keep things a bit more organized and I wouldn't have Royal Kingdom families lumped together with Pleasantview. Plus, I can update as I play, no matter which neighborhood I feel like playing that day. However, I don't want to be breaking rules or making a nuisance of myself, so if anyone would be bothered by it, please let me know.

That would be perfectly fine. I made the double posting rule to stop members from spamming to boost their post count - but if you have a long, well-thought out message that you clearly didn't spend all that time on just to boost your post count by one, I'm okay with it.

I'm pretty sure that would be absolutely fine As Ray and Kharma said. Same with replying to a thread e.g. to notify people that another update has come upon us (hehe, I just had to say that)
